Where's my exciting news?

It seems like the all the Walkers (old and new) have exciting news or did exciting things. Carey and the boys went to that Hippy concert thing. Kyle and Lynds are having a little girl. My parents will be grandparents in a few months. Zachary and Brenda are moved in to their house and it looks great!!! Keith and Kim finally have all their family in the states. Katie and Justin are reunited. Kara and Aaron and parents. Lindsey, Justin and Ben get to be a part of that. Rick and Denise are grandparents. And last but not least Grandmom and Granddad are Great Grandparents!!!!!

So where's my news. Well I haven't had anything exciting happen lately. I have been working voluntary OT on Sat from 8-12 to get a little extra money for the holidays. I am getting to go home for Thanksgiving which is exciting. However what I have been praying for hasn't come yet. I know everything is in God's hands so all I can do is pray. Now I'm sure you guys are trying to guess what I really want for Christmas. I want my Dad to get a job. My parents have been so patient and I know that we are all praying. It hurts my heart to talk to my Dad about it b/c I know he is depressed at this point.

DAD hang in there!!!! James and I pray for you daily. I love you and know that everyone in the WBI prays for you also. As they say, there is power in prayer when two or more come together in His name. I can only hope that God has made you wait only to find you the perfect job.

Well sorry about the depressing nature of the second part of the blog but it has been on my heart. Those of you who know me well know that I worry about things I can't control. I will try to not worry as much. I hope you all have great weeks and I will write more when I have more to say!

  • You are a sweet daughter. WE are praying for your folks too. Keep on with your encouragement to them. I know they appreciate it.

  • STOP WORRYING! I'll do enough for all of us. I'm not sure worry is the correct verb. Maybe a little depressed. Maybe concerned. All I can do is keep looking and keep praying. I suppose the second action is the one that needs my attention the most. Love you, ANW.

  • Alison, Have a wonderful Thanksgiving in Arizona. I know it will cheer your parents up to have you around! And, a little encouragement from Walker's favorite CD, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself!" He listens to it every morning during tummy time, and every morning, I get convicted. The Word is powerful, huh?
